What this site does, what it does not, and how to tell us.
We sell accessibility audits. It would be a poor look to publish a site we had not audited ourselves, or to claim more for it than is true.

We target WCAG 2.2 level AA.
Every page on cometx.ca is built and checked against WCAG 2.2 AA. That is also the standard we hold our associates to, and the one we audit clients against.
What we check, and how
- Contrast. Every piece of visible text is measured against its actual rendered background, at its real size and weight. Text over photographs is measured against the image pixels, not assumed.
- Structure. One
h1per page, headings in order, landmarks, and no duplicate element IDs. - Images. Every content image carries alternative text, and a written description is also shown on the page for everyone.
- Keyboard. Everything reachable and operable without a mouse, with a visible focus indicator and a skip link as the first stop.
- Motion. Animation respects the reduced-motion setting. Moving content pauses on hover and on keyboard focus.
- Reflow. No horizontal scrolling from 320px upwards.
- Forms. Every field labelled, errors described in text and tied to the field they belong to.
Where we currently fall short.
A statement that claims perfection is not worth reading. These are the gaps we know about.
- Automated checking has limits. Contrast, structure and reflow are tested programmatically on every page. Screen-reader testing has been done on the main paths but not exhaustively on all thirty-plus pages.
- Reports are long. Some research reports are dense documents with data tables. Wide tables scroll inside a labelled region rather than reflowing, which works but is not ideal on a small screen.
- No audio versions yet. They are on the roadmap; in the meantime we will record one on request.
- Third-party components. The live chat window is supplied by Tawk.to and we do not control its markup.

If any part of this site or any publication is difficult or impossible for you to use, we want to know. We aim to acknowledge within two business days and to fix or provide an alternative within ten.
You will not be asked to explain your disability or justify the request.
